A Very Taiwanese Cinco De Mayo

In honor of Cinco de Mayo, my friends and I had a party on Monday. It was really, really fun and very interesting. As I'm sure you can imagine, there's not a lot of Mexican things in Asia. NO tortillas or tortilla chips, no guac, no refried beans, etc. But we had the amazing Katy to the rescue. She made tortillas and guac and everything delicious. It was a total success and it was great to eat food I have been missing from the states.

So for this party, we invited all our friends. Some were Taiwanese and had no idea what this holiday was. And a lot of our friends are from around the world and had also never celebrated Cinco De Mayo, so we wanted them to have a good first time experience. It was a total success and so much fun. Here are some pictures from the evening!
