Chinese Name and Green Tea


So today I got a Chinese name. It looks like this, and it is pronounced something like shaw-row-lee:


I'm still not entirely sure what it means, but it relates to summer, because of the last name "Sommerville". I know that much. I have to get a chop made with my Chinese name on it. A chop is a wooden stamp that I can use to sign my Chinese name on legal documents. I just think its super cool I have a Chinese name now. I feel like it is some sort of rite of passage or something. 

I am really loving iced green tea right now. There is this tea stand called Nanhai Sado. I love the iced green tea with a little sugar and it costs NT$20, which is about $0.66 in US dollars. It is delicious, but my favorite part is the cup and "lid" it comes in. It comes in a plastic cup with a sealed on top. The top is like the covering that comes on a container of sour cream, under the lid. And you just stick the straw through it. I don't know how to explain it. But here are some pictures:
